Race Details:

  • Distance: 4 Miles

  • Course: Primarily flat with three small hills.

  • Terrain: Road

  • Start Time: 4 Mile 7:15am Kids ~ 8:20am

  • Location: Elmhurst, IL [ Elmhurst University Campus & Downtown Elmhurst ]

Course Amenities:

  • Water Stations: Located near the 1.5-mile and 2.5-mile markers.

  • Start and Finish: Water available.

  • Mile Markers: Clearly marked at each mile.

  • Gear Check: Available (organizers not responsible for lost items).

Registration and Policies:

  • No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable.

  • No Time Limit: No cut-off time for finishers.

  • Rain or Shine: The race will proceed regardless of weather.

  • Lightning/Severe Weather: The race may be delayed or canceled. Participants will receive instructions for shelter if dangerous weather occurs.

Kids 1K:

  • Start: 4-mile finish line.

  • Route: North on Prospect Ave. to Park Ave., 180-degree turn, finish at the start.

  • Part of CARA's Chicago Racing Circuit

This is a runner's race.

For the safety of all participants, bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, and other wheeled vehicles, as well as pets, are prohibited on the course. Strollers are permitted, but we strongly recommend against their use. If you choose to use a stroller, you must start at the back of the starting pack.

Awards

Separate awards to the top three overall finishers.

  • Male/Female age group awards (3 deep): 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94 and 95-99.

    • Results will be posted at www.4on4th.run.
